PSTN FixedLane (56K)

• supports modem speeds from 14.4Kbps and up to 56Kbps#
• One allocated IP address

There are certain sites in cyberspace (i.e. professional databases and news sites), which will allow you to access their services only if they recognize your IP (Internet Protocol) address. If you are a subscriber to such a service, then what you need is our PSTN FixedLane subscription.
In essence, this is a normal 56K dial-up account, which is, however, assigned a permanent IP (Internet Protocol) address. That is, every time you connect to the Internet, our servers will assign you the same IP address.

[ ISDN Services ]

ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) services refer to accounts accessing the Internet through an ISDN line with a throughput of up to 128K. ISDN Access means faster, more reliable, digital access to the Internet with speeds of up to 128K.

• ISDN terminal adaptor and ISDN line required at customer’s site
• One allocated IP address

In essence, this is a normal ISDN dial-up account, which is, however, assigned a permanent IP (Internet Protocol) address. That is, every time you connect to the Internet, you will be assigned the same IP address. Assigning a permanent IP address may be needed in order to enable you to gain access to a remote intranet and/or extranet, database, or in order to connect your local LAN to the Internet and even set up your local mail server or other application which you need to be accessible to and from the Internet.
